The Free Tier

Slide Buddy is free to install and use with the following limits:

• Up to 3 slides per translation run — no sign-up, no credit card, no account creation required
• All 100+ languages — the free tier doesn't restrict which languages you can use
• Full formatting preservation — free users get the same quality as paid users
• Speaker notes translation — included in the free tier
• Unlimited translation runs — you can run Slide Buddy as many times as you want, 3 slides at a time

What Counts as a "Slide"?

Each slide in your Google Slides deck counts as one slide, regardless of how much text it contains. A title slide with 3 words and a content slide with 500 words both count as one slide each.

Workaround for longer decks on the free tier: You can translate a 15-slide deck by running Slide Buddy 5 times, selecting different slide ranges each time. It takes a few extra clicks but works.

Paid Plans

For unlimited slides per run, Slide Buddy offers paid plans. Pricing details are available inside the extension after installing. Plans are designed to be affordable for teachers, freelancers, and small teams.

Is the Free Tier Enough for You?
